I am a final year BSc Games Programming student at Staffordshire University. 4 years ago, I chose to change the direction of my career towards something I enjoy, I have always had strong mathematic skills and games programming is a subject that encompasses this. I enjoy programming games especially the graphical side and I am confident in my abilities with C++, C#, Java and HLSL. My career target is to work on AAA games for a top gaming company and would like to work on new innovative technologies.

FHL – Research and Development (June 2017 to present)
Dunelm Mill – Warehouse Operative (Nov 2013 to Aug 2016)
To prepare orders ready for despatch, this job has given me the skills needed to be able to keep up with demanding deadlines and to work well with others in a team environment.
Grosvenor Casinos – Croupier/Inspector (July 2006 to Apr 2012)
To deal casino games to customers whilst maintaining a high level of security, as there are large sums of money at stake, this is a fast-paced environment and has taught me how to manage myself whilst under pressure and demanding circumstances. This job allowed me to gain extensive experience dealing with customers in a face to face role. After 3 years I was promoted to inspector level, this allowed me to sharpen skills in managing a small team.
In my spare time I like to make computer games and I'm currently working towards finishing a puzzle based mobile game. Most of my down time is spent with my family. I also like to stay healthy, and I regularly practice rock climbing at my local bouldering centre.
